From small beginnings in Coventry, England, engineer Neville Swales and his team have been quietly creating meticulously engineered cars. Their first completed car - a re-creation of the sublime 1966 Jaguar X J 13 Le-Mans Prototype - was a finalist in the 2016 International Historic Motoring Awards, standing shoulder-to-shoulder against such icons as the 1966 Le Mans-winning Ford GT40 and the 1956 Le Mans winning Ecurie Ecosse Jaguar D-Type.

At the heart of each exclusive car is their own unique tera® "quad-cam" V12, inspired by the Ferrari, Jaguar, Tatra and Lamborghini V 12s that screamed around the Le Mans circuit throughout the 1960s.

tera V12 quad-cam

The type of power unit that could have been heard howling down the Mulsanne Straight at Le Mans in 1966, and beyond. An engine that should have powered Jaguars range of sports cars and saloons if circumstances had permitted.
Available in either 6. 1, 6.8 or 7.3-litre guise, inspired by the Ferrari V 12s that roared around the Le Mans circuit, and the missed chance for Jaguar to follow-up its straight-six success in endurance racing with a V 12 engine. A beautifully sculptural, evocative and visceral power unit.

Classic Workshop

Based close to Jaguar’s spiritual home our fully-equipped and staffed new workshop opens its doors to fellow-enthusiasts and owners of Jaguar E-Types, Classic Saloons and race-cars – re-creations or original. Building The Legend will collect and deliver vehicles for service, repair and rejuvenation from and to any location - in the case of overseas customers, any UK airport or port.

The expert engineers at our Classic Workshop are ready to help preserve and rejuvenate classic Jaguar cars from around the world.
